Congratulations are due to Priscilla Villalvazo '27, the recipient of the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education's Rick Angulo World Experience Award.
Professor Sara Swenson, faculty director for the Fall 2025 Religion Foreign Study Program (FSP) to Edinburgh, stated that "Priscilla was awarded the Rick Angulo World Experience Award for her exceptional performance in the Religion FSP to Edinburgh. The FSP included regular fieldtrips and excursions around the UK, as well as rigorous 3-hour long seminar meetings once a week. Priscilla excelled for her high achievements as a student and participant. She attended all events with bright enthusiasm, curiosity, and preparedness. We are proud to honor her with this award"
The Angulo Award was established by the family, classmates, and friends of Rick Angulo '77, who died in 1988. Priscilla's name will be engraved on the Rick Angulo World Experience Award memorial plaque, which is displayed in the reception area of the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education.
The entire Department of Religion congratulates Priscilla!
