Elizabeth Pérez' new book, Religion in the Kitchen: Cooking, Talking, and the Making of Black Atlantic Traditions, will be published by New York University Press in January, 2016, and will be the subject of a discussion at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion.

On Thursday, November 12, between 12 and 2pm in the Hop Garage Studio Space, Reynaldo González Fernández will lead a master class in Afro-Cuban Dance, as part of Prof. Elizabeth Pérez' Religion 17 and Religion 52 courses. All are welcome to attend and participate.
