Congratulations to Professor Zahra Ayubi! Her book "Gendered Morality" has won an Honorable Mention in the Association for Middle East Women's Studies Book Award!

Assistant Professor of Religion Zahra Ayubi has received a grant from the Greenwall Foundation's Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics to continue her research on the intersections of bioethics, gender, and religion within the context of Islam.

Professor Zahra Ayubi has been awarded a New Directions in Humanities Scholarship to study contemporary gender ethics in Muslim communities.

Assistant Professor of Religion Zahra Ayubi was recently honored with a Dean of the Faculty Mentoring Award for 2016-2017 for her outstanding work as a mentor of Dartmouth students.

Religion professors Zahra Ayubi and Randall Balmer were guests on New Hampshire Public Radio's Exchange program, commenting on a new study by the Pew Memorial Trust that finds that Americans - especially American women - tend to be more religious than people in other developed countries.

This Fall term, the Religion Department will welcome Zahra Ayubi, who will be teaching REL 8 (Introduction to Islam) and REL 26 (Islam in America) and Devin Singh, who will be teaching REL 19.15 (God and Money).
