Michael S. Northcott
Visiting Edinburgh Professor
Michael Northcott is Professor of Ethics at the University of Edinburgh School of Divinity. His teaching and research are in the areas of Christian Ethics, ecology and religious ethics, and economy and ethics. He has published 12 books and over 70 academic papers, and has been visiting professor at the Claremont School of Theology, Duke University, Dartmouth College, and other colleges and universities. He is returning to Dartmouth in Summer Term, 2017, to teach Rel. 19.23, Ecology, Ethics, and Religion (10A).
He leads a large Arts and Humanities Council grant on faith-based ecological activism in the UK entitled 'Caring for the Furture Through Ancestral Time.' Please go to the following link for more information: http://ancestraltime.org.uk/
