Tanya Luhrmann, Watkins University Professor in the Anthropology Department at Stanford University, is an American psychological anthropologist best known for her studies of modern-day witches, charismatic Christians, and psychiatrists. She is the author of When God Talks Back (Alfred A. Knopf, 2012) and other books. Read more about her at luhrmann.net.
